There is enough in the world for everyone. Everyone does not get enough though. Some get most, many get little to nothing. Daily good product is thrown away, while many remain needy. We are taxed to death so our governments have funding to pick fights with other countries while slowly chipping away our freedoms with ridiculous laws. There is no love, just the love of power, and money is power, so the world lusts after money. In the process of obtaining power nations use each other, for cheap labor or monopolies on resources. Wars are fought over resources and fear of other ideologies. This is not sustainable, there will be trouble. Global trouble.

God for a day

If I may
I’d like to be god for a day.
To make the world
behave like I say.

Dogs will get many more days,
there will not be any more strays.

Nations will no more war,
and food given free at the store.

Children will not know strife,
and have two parents for life,
all together in a house.

Leaders will only care
how their people fare.
The world ready to share,
so all get a piece,
fair and square.

If I may be god for a day
you might want me to stay,
because I will require only one way,
and that will be fair play.
