We are never really satisfied with our lives. The saying about the grass being greener on the others side of the fence proves that. Climb that fence, and once you stand on the greener grass you might see that it also has bare and brown spots, bugs and weeds. Look back at your grass and it will now appear greener for the same reason. It’s all about perspective, how you look at things. Sometimes I think just being grateful for what you have helps you maintain your current lawn. Don’t accept the bugs and weeds and bald brown spots, be happy that you see them, then take care of them. Make your grass greener. There is no need to travel back in time and pick another lawn, they all require the same effort.
Time machine:
If I had a time machine
Would I go watch Jesus die
just to see if it was all a lie?
If I had a time machine
Would I go find myself and lie
about the fact that loved ones die
If I had a time machine
Would I go change things
to avoid the pain living brings?
Or will I be content
that it all turned out good
in the end?
