Some thoughts about hope

Hope is beautiful. Hope keeps us going. Where there is hope there is still a chance. A chance for things to get better, for circumstances to improve. Without hope, all is lost. It’s better to be helpless than hopeless. Keep on keeping on with a hopeful disposition because you never know, today might just be the day things finally go your way.

Hope

You go east, I go west
Our paths diverge to destinations diverse
We put down roots, hang up our boots
and live and love and give our best
to those with whom we chose to nest

I hope we never loose each other

I learn about the fact that you became a mother
The wife and lover of another
I myself married my own challenge and strife
and do my best to be successful at life

I still hope we never loose each other

Years have passed and we are older
With age and years we’ve become bolder
Knowing life is short and as a rule
time itself can be so cruel

I will always hope we never loose each other

Because our souls are destined for each other
even when it takes two lifetimes with another
our paths will cross, our souls unite, 
our hope kindled love ignite.

As long as we both never stop hoping
that we ever loose each other.
