To a large extend we are formed by our experiences. At some point though we have to take charge and set the tone of our existence. A perfect life is impossible. The best we can do is to be present and put ourselves out there. Participate in life. Mingle, love, learn, laugh, screw up or around, whatever! Just do it. Once I read something that asked, ‘Do you want to do it? If yes go do it. If afraid, go do it afraid!’ The fear of not knowing or experiencing should drive us, not the fear of missing out. Ignorance, I found, evaporates when exposed to action. Live and learn I remind myself every day.

I have loved many a miss,
I have walked hand in hand with Miss understand,
I left Miss take in my wake,
Lots of time was spent with Miss represent,
I left Miss spelled because she often yelled,
I have regret that I ever met Miss stepped,
me and Miss hap had many a spat,
Miss stated left me jaded,
To Miss spoken I was merely a token,
For Miss trust I felt nothing more than lust,
Miss spent and I made love in a tent,
Miss use loved to be used and abused,
and Miss ive?,
she helped me understand what it means to be alive.
god, all of this I am so thankful I did not miss!
