I saw something on YouTube that resonated with me. Nobody likes being wrong. Everyone hates making mistakes. This is often programmed into us by parents, school, friends and peers. Mistakes are highlighted, talked, laughed and cried about. Avoiding mistakes can lead to inaction. When you do nothing you cannot fail right? Wrong! Doing nothing is the biggest mistake of them all! Go ahead, do nothing , but see it for what it is and step away from it into your life! Make your life an active one filled with living, loving, breaking things, learning to be better and then do this on repeat. This is how unhappiness is beat!
Mistakes, we hate them but we make them,
and that often leads to self flagellation.
Mistakes mark the path to wisdom and experience,
but unfortunately society sees it as defeasance.
Two wrongs don’t make a right?
I think that saying might be a bit of a slight!
We really should make mistakes often and proudly
because it shows ways of living that are lousy.
We can never discover the right way without
a life fraught with efforts steeped in fault!
Resist the conditioning installed in our minds,
and live furiously making mistakes of all kinds!
This makes us wise and fulfilled,
and over time we become so very skilled.
To mess things up is to be human,
that is why ‘Live and learn’ is my slogan!
