We are what we eat! There is more to that saying I think. We are what we consume. Food, thoughts and ideas, all these things makes us what we are and directly influences our thinking. Considering that thinking sets our behavior, and our behavior determines our world, we really need to consume carefully, and develop a strong sense of who we are lest we be swayed and influenced and loose our selves. I am all for exploring and trying new things, this makes life interesting, but I realize that I must be responsible to myself at all times. I set the tone, I pick the bone, I decide, sometimes with pride what I allow for myself – in the end if it all goes to hell, I have only myself to blame.

I own a cup I like to keep filled up
with stuff ranging from curious to crap,
and at times with more than one at the same time,
and always undiluted and straight up.

This cup then becomes that which it contains!
when full of troubles, pains, tensions and weeping
the contents becomes the cup's very reason for being!

You might have guessed this cup is me,
my body, mind and soul,
so I must be picky what I allow and to which I enroll,
because that which I am full off becomes my goal.

I wish to live in a world without censorship,
so I can be free to choose that to which I want membership.
Then when life rocks me, and it bloody hell will,
and I am squeezed and shaken until my insides spill,
I would like for most of it to be simple goodwill.
